What are Discord IDs?

A Discord ID is a unique 18 digit number that is assigned to each entity in Discord.

All users, servers, channels, and messages have unique IDs. These IDs are used for debugging, logging, and references purposes.

You can join and participate in Discord without ever knowing these IDs, as developers primarily use these.

It is perfectly fine to share these Discord IDs as nothing malicious can be done with them. In fact, sometimes, you’ll have to provide these IDs when contacting Discord support.
